Aiming to foster compassion and understanding between generations, The students of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Kitchlu Nagar Ludhiana spent a quality time with the elderly , engaging in conversations, singing songs and learning lessons of life from them. They also gave many gifts like woollens, fruits, sweets, blankets etc bringing smiles to the faces of the elderly. The school believes such interactions help students develop empathy and a sense of responsibility towards society, while providing joy and companionship to the elderly. Committed to great works of making this world a better place, students spent an emotional saga by visiting Shree Vivekanand Swarg Ashram , Model Town Ludhiana. The senior citizens sang songs, laughed at jokes, experienced yoga time and enjoyed with students a lot. Getting benefitted from their valuable experiences, the visit went as a great learning experience for the students.
Our elders are the keepers of wisdom and valuable experiences and they deserve our respect and care ,Be committed to treat them with compassion and dignity - messaged Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal to all the students.
